ShakoUp ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application ("the App").

  • Account Information: When you sign up, we collect your email address, name, and profile picture (if using Google/Apple Sign-In).
  • Mission Data: We collect the data you submit in your "Mission Reports," including:
    • Self-Reflection: "Nervousness" scores and reaction tags.
    • Journal Notes: Text descriptions of your social interactions.
    • AI Interactions: Information you type into the "Analyze" features.

2.2. Automatically Collected Information

  • Device Data: We collect device type, operating system version, and general usage statistics (e.g., daily streaks, features used) to improve the App stability.
  • Progress Data: We track your XP, levels, and inventory unlock status to maintain your game progress.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your data for the following purposes:

  • Gamification: To track your streaks, level up your "Animal Profile," and unlock new skill cards.
  • AI Coaching: To provide personalized feedback on your social interactions. Your Mission Reports (pressure scores, tags, and notes) are sent to our third-party AI provider (Groq) to generate this feedback.
  • Notifications: To send you the daily "Social Mission" reminders (which are scheduled locally on your device).

4. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell your personal data. We only share data with trusted third-party service providers required to operate the App:

  • AI Service Providers: We use Groq to process your text inputs and generate coaching feedback. These providers are bound by confidentiality agreements and do not use your data to train their public models.
  • Authentication: We use Google and Apple for secure sign-in authentication.
  • Cloud Infrastructure: Your data is stored securely on servers provided by Vercel and PostgreSQL database providers.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

  • Retention: We retain your account data and mission history as long as your account is active so you can track your social growth over time.
  • Deletion: You have the right to delete your account at any time. You can do this directly in the App by going to Profile & Account > Delete Account. This action permanently erases your personal data, mission logs, and inventory from our servers.
